When we were kids we had a 'one special person' (or a few in my case) whom we call our best friend. They were there for u in good and bad times. U see them everyday, talk on the phone everyday, maybe write letters everyday (in my case lol I know!), sleepover at their house on the weekends (for some) and as kids, you were part of this certain clique and whoever tried to take your best friend away from u, well, u know what'll happen to them! Yes most of us were possessive of our best friends.
As we grow wiser (I didn't wanna say OLDER cos hey it's not a nice word!) we do these things less with our best friends. Other things take over; work, other relationships, family...
So what about our best friends? Where are they now and where are u? Are u still around for them as they are for u or do u now turn to someone or something else in their absence?
I know I still have mine. I know they'll always be there for me even if we don't get to do all those childhood things anymore. So to my best friends, thank you for everything and I say that with all my love :)
